Introduction to Craniosacral Therapy

Held in Stroud,Gloucestershire and Buckfastleigh,Devon

17th/18th July 2010

In this two day course participants will be invited to discover and practice some of the underlying themes which form the basis of the Biodynamic approach to Craniosacral Therapy. The weekend is largely experiential to enable each person present to get a felt sense of the way that the Craniosacral system can help them to listen to the stories of the body. Many past participants have found that the course has offered them an opportunity to experience and understand something of their own process as they take part in the practice sessions. This course does not require any prior knowledge of anatomy and physiology or bodywork. Participants are given all the information they need during the weekend. Previous participants have included practitioners of complementary therapies like osteopathy, massage, shiatsu, etc. ; orthodox practitioners such as doctors, dentists and nurses; and also people with no prior experience of therapy but with a keen interest to explore this area of therapy. Although the weekend is self-contained, the course is also an ideal preparation for those wishing to consider applying for practitioner trainings in Craniosacral Therapy. Details and information about these training courses will be available at the weekend, or can be sent on request. The next course begins in Autumn 2009 and bookings are currently being taken. The course tutor is a Craniosacral practitioner with many years` experience. She also teaches extensively on Accredited Craniosacral Therapy practitioner courses both in this country and abroad.

The cost of the course is £80.00 which includes tuition, course notes and light refreshments. Lunches are vegetarian bring and share. The course is non-residential but there is a choice of extremely comfortable B & B very nearby for those attending from a distance.
